From July 28 for a month, Lakeeren Gallery will turn into a Research Pod, where in the galleries library will be available to the public, there by functioning as a space for learning and knowledge exchange. This in continuation with the gallery’s imperative to engage with critical discourse and questions of art history, theory and curating that are fundamental to its program. We invite you to come and use the gallery as a research station along with allowing you to host your own “knowledge Sharing Sessions”*every Wednesday from 5-6 pm, where you are encourage to discuss, argue, share any form of knowledge that interests you. This is your event that you organize and invite your friends and peers. Every Thursday Mentorship sessions* for young scholars and curators is available from 4- 7pm by Dr Arshiya Lokhandwala.This is an invitation to think, pause and expand your mind.
